Spanish for kids, told by felt puppets

The Paper Puppet Theater helps children learn Spanish the way they learn everything else at that age: through stories they love, characters they remember and play.

Who we are

We are a small team of storytellers, illustrators and language lovers who believe that the easiest way to learn Spanish is to fall in love with a story first. Every tale on our stage is performed by handmade-style felt puppets and narrated in clear, warm, natural Spanish by a native Spanish-speaking speech-language pathologist. No robotic voices, no AI narration: just a real person who knows how children hear and copy the sounds of a new language.

How our Spanish method works

Our method is built on fifty classic stories. Each story carries one lesson, so children pick up new Spanish vocabulary and grammar naturally while they follow the plot, instead of memorising lists or sitting through formal classes. Kids hear the same words in context, again and again, until they become their own.

Narrated stories

Every tale is told in Spanish with puppets and cinematic scenes that make the meaning easy to follow.

Bilingual books

An English and Spanish ebook for each story, so families can read together after watching.

Workbooks and coloring

Printable exercises and coloring pages that reinforce the words and structures of each lesson.

Language games

Playful language games for kids that turn practice into something they ask to do again.

Who it is for

We create for English-speaking families who want their children to learn Spanish, for bilingual homes that want to keep Spanish alive, for homeschoolers, and for Spanish teachers looking for engaging stories to use in class. You don't need to be fluent to use our materials: everything comes with English support.

Coming at the end of December

Our curtain rises with the first five stories:

  1. Little Red Riding Hood (Caperucita Roja)
  2. The Ant and the Grasshopper (La cigarra y la hormiga)
  3. Cinderella (Cenicienta)
  4. Jack and the Beanstalk (Juanito y las habichuelas)
  5. Don Quixote (Don Quijote de la Mancha)

After launch, a new episode arrives every week, each with its own books, activities and games.
